Kia Orana...

...No, its not a reasonably priced midsized Sedan (we're not sponsored yet but keep clicking an tell your friends), it's a greeting from the Cook Islands where we landed this morning 12:30PM for you Eastern Standard Time Zoners, a full 29 hours after our Raleigh departure. Naturally it feels like we've been through a washing machine, but we can already tell that we're in the right place. First off, I found a puppy like 30 minutes after we arrived at the hotel (pics for our "Dogs on Blogs" series to follow) and then we ate a rediculously good F.O.B (fresh off boat) crumbled mahi-mahi fish sandwich at a shack on the beach (again pics to follow). Just wanted everyone to know that we're here safe and sound as we've traveled to the part of the map thats labeled with question marks and cartoon sea monsters. Internet is spotty so we may not post again till we hit New Zealand on Monday, but we will update with pics and stories then. I will close with a conversation we had that struck me as kind of profound. Tash asked the lady at the moped shop if it was going to rain tomorrow, and the lady smiled and said "I have no idea dear, here we just take each day as it comes."
